Q: What exactly is Tiny Tots?
A: Tiny Tots is a family-run indoor playground co-op where kids birth to five (through a child’s kindergarten year) can play during the cold and rainy days. Children play under the supervision of their parents in a space we rent from Our Savior Lutheran Church (we are not affiliated with the church). Member families receive the code to unlock the door and may go to play during our open hours without appointment. We do not provide childcare or drop-off care.

Q: What is the appropriate age for my child to join Tiny Tots?
A: We welcome families with children from birth through Kindergarten.

Q: How much does it cost to join?
A: The Membership dues are $150 for the year (Sept-June) and breaks down to $50 per term. Memberships are renewed each September with pre-registration in the Spring. We offer discounts to members who renew early! Contact us for details.

Q: What does my membership provide me?
A: Members get unlimited access to the playground 6 days a week during our open hours. Monday through Saturday, we’re open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for Tuesdays, when we’re open noon to 7 p.m., and 4 to 7 p.m. is considered “family night.” Members also have access to Tiny Tots special events, field trips, and festivals.

Q: Is the membership fee based per family or per child?
A: The annual membership fee allows the entire family to access to the playground (those children aged 0-5). Older siblings may join their brothers/sisters during Family Night and during events when appropriate.

Q: Will I be required to babysit other people’s children as part of the co-op responsibility?
A.  No. Members are responsible for their own children while they are at the playground. Tiny Tots does not provide child care.

Q: What do you mean by co-op?
A.  A co-op (also co-operative or cooperative) is an organization operated by a group of individuals for their mutual benefit. Members participate in the Tiny Tots co-op by paying dues, observing the rules, helping to open and close the playground, and volunteering to keep the playground maintained.

Q: Can another family member bring my child to the playground?
A: Absolutely! Grandparents, immediate family and care providers are welcome to bring your child as long as they are listed on your liability waiver you sign when you enroll with Tiny Tots.

Q: May I bring a guest with me to the playground?
A: You are welcome to share Tiny Tots with one guest a month. Please sign them in the guest book and have them sign a liability waiver located in the file folder. It is your responsibility to explain the playground rules to your guests. If the guest is a prospective member (i.e. they are interested in joining Tiny Tots), they do not count toward your one guest a month limit.

Q: Are scholarships available if I can not afford to join?
A: Yes. We have scholarships available for families in need of financial assistance. To apply, contact our Finance Coordinator.

Q: I’d like to see the playgrounds before I commit. Can I schedule a tour?
